Moscow State L.M. Lavrovsky Ballet School was founded in 1993. It’s a non-profit organization supported by the culture commission of the Moscow government. Over the years, Moscow State L.M. Lavrovsky Ballet School graduated more than 250 ballet dancers.
They take part in festivals, contests and conferences. Among them are winners of gold and silver medals, laureates and diploma winners of the International and All-Russian choreographic art competitions in Moscow, Luxembourg, Kharkov, Berlin, Lyon, Tallinn.
To recreate the classic ballet dance in 17-18 century, the school have put much effort and done many works. Today, the school’s repertoire is varied in choreographic numbers of various dance styles from the ballets: The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Giselle, Coppelia, Little Humpbacked Horse, Esmeralda, La Bayadere, Flame of Paris, “Flower Festival in Genzano”, “Raymonda”. They have brought the works of word-class masters to the stages of other cities in Moscow and Russia. Many of them have been highly acclaimed on the world stage.
